The Mission Viejo Diablos, led by Coach Chad Johnson, had an aggressive game plan and shocked the Servite Friars and their thousands of fans that were on hand at MVHS to see the Diablos shut down the Friars and win 34-15. In doing so the Diablos were crowned the 2023 CIF-SS Division 2 Champions.
