20 Southern California High School Wrestling Teams were on hand for the San Clemente Wrestling Tournament. The Santa Margarita Eagles had an excellent showing placing 3rd overall with 9 wrestlers finishing in the top 5. Braydon Higgins at 106 pounds pinned all 3 of his opponents for the championship. Brennan Maeda, at 120 pounds also won his matches for the tournament title. At 113 pounds Samuel Qu took second as did Zayne Belle at 145 pounds and Jayden Dose at 220 pounds. Owen Chandler wrestled six-times, won all his matches but because of a clerical error finished in 3rd. Wyatt Chandler took 3rd, Adrian Hadis 4th and Bernardo Nascimento at 138 pounds finished in 4th as well. Catch all the action with Paul J. Higgins.
